REMAINING BALANCE MUST BE PAID IN CASH ONLY! Hair must be CLEAN, PRODUCT/OIL FREE & BLOWN OUT. IF HAIR ISN'T BLOWN OUT, IT WILL BE A EXTRA FEE TO DETANGLE HAIR.

Hair must be at least 3 inches ALL AROUND.

HAIR ALLERGIES

Please be advised all synthetic hair may cause an allergic reaction to certain people. If you have any allergies to any braiding hair please let us know prior to your appointment date to help prevent that.

 

Caution!!!

Short hair: Clients with short hair : should contact us with pictures before setting up an appointment. An extra fee will be charged on top of the service you select for short hair.  And to ensure a smooth and quick service please avoid any forms of hair products or oils. 

In the event of your scheduled appointment, and we are unable to grip it, your deposit will be refunded to you.

    • The duration of each service depends on the length of your hair, hair density, parting, and size of clients’ head and the size of the chosen style.

Cash App $braidbymamasipp or via Booking website immediately after booking. Failure to send in your deposit after 15 minutes will result in cancellation of your appointment. An automated confirmation text will be sent 12 hours prior.

Late To Appointment

Communication is key. If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we require you to notify Braids By MamaSipp via text IMMEDIATELY at 1-662-836-4350 . There is a 15 MINUTES grace period after the start of your appointment time, at 20 MINUTES a $10 late fee will be applied to your remaining balance. PLEASE BE ON TIME & HAVE A CLEAR SCHEDULE! At 25 minutes your appointment will be CANCELLED. 

Cancellation Policy

Your deposit is valid for ONE reschedule. Any rescheduling needs to be done at least 48 hours prior. If you have to reschedule after the 48 hour period your deposit will be forfeited & must be resent for your new appointment.

​Your appointment is very important to Braids By MamaSipp, it is reserved especially for you. I understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, therefore, we respectfully request a minimum of 72 hours for cancellations and 48 hours for rescheduling. Any rescheduling needs to be done at least 48 hours prior. If you have to reschedule after the 48 hour period your deposit will be forfeited & must be resent for your new appointment.

AFTER BRAIDS CARE & FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

AFTER BRAIDS CARE

  • Moisturize your scalp daily with a mixture of water and your favourite leave-in conditioner and your essential oils.

  • Relieve dry scalp by applying a light oil or hair food to your scalp.

  • Message your scalp daily for blood flow. Be gentle and apply light circular motion.

  • Keep braids installed for 4-6 weeks. Do not keep braids longer than 2 months.

  • Protect your braids while you sleep at night by covering hair with a satin cap or headscarf.

  • Minimize tension and hairline breakage by avoiding over manipulation of braids (especially the first week). Also avoid constant changes in hair styles.

  • Wash braided hair a minimum of once every 2 weeks (optional). Avoid “roughing up” your braids in the process.

  • Touch up your Braids after 3 or 4 weeks to freshen up your hair style to prevent new-growth hanging on thin strands.

    • Yes, it does

    • Yes, it is. I do provide hair for most of my services. Please see services for more information.

  • How long can I keep my braids in for?

    • Braids installed should be kept in for 4-6 weeks but no longer than 2 months

  • How long does my hair needs to be for you to be able to braid it?

    • if your hair is at least 3 inches, you can get certain style I offer not all services. However, clients with short hair must reach out with pictures and videos before booking.

  • How long does it take to get my hair braided?

  • When do I need a touch-up?

    • Redo your hairline after 3 or 4 weeks to freshen up your hair and prevent new- growth hanging on your edges.
